Man facing charges after family fight over baked not fried chicken

Dinner time at one home got out of hand when the man of the house decided that he didn’t like what was served.

It was probably not just the baked rather than fried chicken that set George Rhome off. “He’s usually an easygoing guy,” says Rhome’s mother, Carolyn Rhome.

The dispute started in the kitchen of a home on Morgantown Street in Point Marion. Rhome’s daughter-in-law was cooking dinner. “They didn’t do it right and George got mad,” Rhome’s girlfriend, Anna Jaggi says. Rome’s mother says he was unhappy beginning with the peas and corn. “It started over the vegetables because they usually put them in a bowl in the microwave,” Carolyn says.

After the chicken was served, Rhome cried foul. “I think he was already mad about something. He said the chicken was dry,” Carolyn says.

This is when matters got physical. “She picked up a chair and threw it at him and that’s what made him mad because she hit him,” Carolyn says. The food fight spilled from the kitchen to the sidewalk drawing neighbors and police.

Rhome was arrested and so were Jason and Dottie Jaggi, Rhome’s son and daughter-in-law.

Lindsay Lohan must be the most selfish narcissist in America

How does Lindsay Lohan get away with it? Does being rich and famous allow you to get away with lying, stealing, drunkenness and belligerence?

Just this week we find out that Lindsay Lohan:

• has been accused of trashing Dame Elizabeth Taylor's dressing room trailer;
• has been barred from a storied Hollywood hotel for failing to pay more than $46 000 in bills; and
• has been accused of stealing about $6,400 worth of property from the home of millionaire Sam Magid after Lindsay had been a house guest.

She has quite the rap sheet. She is on probation for a 2007 conviction for driving under the influence. Since then she has also been convicted of shoplifting and is on probation for that offense as well. She was sent to jail several times for violating the terms of her probation. But she hewed to a strict regimen of counseling and community service at the county morgue. In March, a judge ended her probation in the DUI case and reduced the shoplifting probation to unsupervised status.

She can no longer get meaningful work and threats of jail time has no impact on her. She is the epitome of white trash.

Krista Ford's advice on how to prevent rapes: Stop dressing like whores

Rob Ford’s niece and former Lingerie Football player, Krista Ford, has generated a lot of negative attention online after dispensing advice to women on how not to get sexually assaulted.

Following a press conference by the Toronto Police Service to warn women about a string of recent sex assaults downtown, Ms. Ford tweeted:

“Stay alert, walk tall, carry mace, take self-defence classes & don’t dress like a whore. #DontBeAVictim #StreetSmart”

The comment caused a firestorm and she quickly tweet an apology on Thursday afternoon.

“I didn’t mean to cause such an alarm and I apologize if I did. I just want women to be safe.”

Not dressing "like a whore" is also pretty suspect advice for preventing sexual violence against women. In fact, a Toronto police officer drew widespread condemnations last year when he told a group of York University students that not dressing "like sluts" was one way to prevent sexual assault. That led to the "Slut Walk" in Toronto which spread to other cities.

This is coming from a woman who dressed in lingerie to get men to watch her play football. She has to be as stupid and insensitive as her high profile dad and uncle.
